Making Emulsion:

90mls cyanotype solution + 11.7 grams of gelatine = 3.69 tsps gelatine.

200mls + 8 1.4 tsp gelatine.

Mix both Cyanotype chemicals together, filter then add gelatine and let bloom for an hour (don’t mix too crazily! Just let it sit) before cooking at around 45 degrees celsius, too hot and you could have your emulsion crystallising, not hot enough and the print will come out grainy. Filter this mixture again. Leave it to sit in the fridge overnight in a light-sealed container (use black electrical tape). The older the emulsion, the stronger and less problematic it will be.
